We ventured to Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes of New York state over the July 4th holiday period and had a great experience! Assembly went well but took a while after I mounted the rear seat too far forward. I moved it back but didn't bother readjusting the rudder. We just steered with our paddles which was fine even when the wind picked up a bit. It was stable and swift, more than keeping up with our friends in their individual kayaks. We went out several times and then deflated and repacked it for the ride home.
In the next several weeks we will try another Finger Lake and a river outlet with adjusted rudder controls and then take it on a week long trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for some bay side / intercoastal waterway kayaking with family. We wouldn't be able to bring it if it wasn't so portable.
It's nice that my wife and I can now kayak together in a tandem that glides well, is manageable when packed, sturdy yet light when assembled, and just very comfortable and fun!
First of all, this is now the 2nd inflatable 2person kayak that I own and it is much better than my other one (different manufacturer).
The quality, fit and finish of the Smart 3 is second to none. The assembly went as described (not counting a small mistake that I made) and the comfort/sitting position is very good. It glides reasonably well on the water (for an inflatable) and the full spray cover is a huge benefit.
2 improvements that I would suggest;
a) the front position does not have a sturdy foot rest where you can really brace ourself when you really have to 'dig in'
b) the full length spray cover tends to bow down, thus gathering and holding water. The kayak spray cover would benefit immensely with some sort of arched bow system that would keep it arched upward and drain the water off instead of collecting it.
Overall, very good 2 person (haven't tried with 3) inflatable kayak that I would gladly suggest to my friends to consider buying.

Vitaliy at Neris Adventures is excellent to work with! I purchased the Neris Smart Pro. My wife and I love this Kayak. Assembly and disassembly is easy. We did practice assembly inside of the house before taking it out. The stability is amazing! I can stand up easily. The boat tracks extremely well, and since it sits in the water the effects of wind are reduced.
We looked at a lot of inflatable and skin on frame options before deciding on the Neris. We’re both so happy that we chose the Neris.
We also purchased the canoe conversion kit which will allow the larger kayak to carry three people..
I highly recommend working with Neris adventures to purchase a nearest kayak.
